Look at the above two pictures.

   The first picture is of a lioness with her cub. It is a mammal.

The second picture is of a bird sitting in her nest. She lays eggs. The eggs hatch into a young one of a bird.

Kindly do the following work in your E.V.S. notebook neatly. Write the heading as The New Babies.

Name the following.

b. A mammal that lives in water: ____________

c. An animal that lays eggs: ____________

d. A young one of a horse is called: ___________

Where the above written work is done, on the opposite blank page draw any one mammal and its young one of your choice. Colour it by using only colour pencils.
